TransformAr project is hosting the Webinar Series Climate Change Adaptation network  titled “Bridging the Adaptation Finance Gap: Unlocking Financing Sources and Investments for Climate Resilience,” scheduled for November 7, 2024, from 10:00 to 12:00 CET. This event will focus on identifying and addressing key challenges to financing climate adaptation and nature restoration, particularly in vulnerable regions across Europe.

Organized in collaboration with the TransformAr Project, the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change, and the Green Deal Projects Support Office (GDSO), the webinar will bring together experts from various sectors to explore strategies for unlocking financing sources, improving bankability, and fostering climate-resilient investments.

The webinar will feature interactive discussions on practical solutions to the adaptation finance gap, including how to enhance project bankability, the role of insurance in climate resilience, and strategic approaches to local climate investment. Participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with presenters during two Q&A sessions.

This event is part of the TransformAr Project’s webinar series, which showcases solutions developed by TransformAr demonstrators and other Green Deal projects, including WaterLANDS and REST-COAST. These initiatives focus on large-scale transformative adaptation and nature restoration across Europe, advancing nature-based solutions, innovative technologies, and financing models for climate adaptation.
